Location Data Terms

1. Purpose of Location Features

This document describes how location information is used in Tavino AI, a service operated by PNCSTAR Inc. ("PNCSTAR", "we", "our"). Location features exist so that members of the same family group can stay connected through everyday moments — seeing each other on a shared map, recognising the places that matter, and keeping travel records with the moment they belong to.

These terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

2. Location Permissions

• Location features require permission granted on your own device, and the permission you grant is controlled by your operating system.
• Permissions can be changed or revoked at any time in your device settings. Revoking permission limits or disables the location features described here.
• Sharing is a choice within the service as well: each member can turn location sharing on or off for themselves.

3. Family Location Sharing

Members of the same group can see each other on one shared map. What each person shares depends on the sharing settings that person has chosen, so the map reflects the group rather than a single device. Location information is shared within the family group according to those settings, and is not sold or used for advertising.

4. Map and Saved Places

• A saved place is a point on the map with a name and an area around it, such as home, school, an academy, or work.
• Places belong to the group rather than to a single device, and members of the same group see the same registered places under the existing sharing rules of that group.
• Registered places appear alongside member locations to give a location context rather than only a coordinate.

5. Arrival and Departure Experiences

Places can be set up so the group is notified around arrival and departure. Whether a moment is recognised depends on device location settings, permissions, and network conditions, so a notification may be delayed or may not occur.

6. Care and Travel Use of Location

• Care: AI Care builds on the same family group. Location features are not used to assess a person's condition, and AI Care does not detect emergencies.
• Travel: a travel record can keep the location where a moment happened, together with photos, text notes, and voice notes. A detected location can be confirmed or adjusted before the record is saved.

7. Background Location

Where background location permission is granted, it is used to support the family map and place experiences described above while the app is not open. Background permission can be revoked at any time in your device settings; doing so limits or disables those experiences.

8. Accuracy and Availability Limitations

Location information can be delayed, imprecise, or unavailable. It is affected by:

• Device permissions and operating system behavior
• GPS, network, and signal conditions
• Battery optimization and power-saving settings
• Whether the device is on, connected, and able to report

Tavino AI does not guarantee exact, continuous, or real-time location information, and its location features must not be relied on as a safety, emergency, rescue, or navigation system.

9. Device and Operating System Settings

Your device settings take precedence over settings inside the service. If location access is switched off at the operating system level, or the device restricts background activity, the related features will not work regardless of the settings chosen inside Tavino AI.

10. Limited Connectivity

When connectivity is limited, travel records including their location can be created and kept on the device until they can be synchronized. Synchronization depends on connection, device conditions, and service availability. Family location sharing on the map requires a working connection and is not available offline.

• Turn location sharing on or off for yourself inside the service
• Change or revoke location permissions in your device settings
• Confirm or adjust a detected location before saving a travel record
• Request deletion of location information associated with you
